The Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation (SFDC) is a public/private non-profit economic development corporation established to guide and assist businesses with locating or expanding into southeastern Fairfax County's Richmond Highway (U.S Route 1) Corridor. From the Capital Beltway to Fort Belvoir, our revitalization efforts are showing. Since incorporating in 1981, we have been a key player in decisions to invest more than $1 billion in new construction and redevelopment projects – making Richmond Highway one of the most dynamic commercial corridors in Fairfax County.
